1. The player and this policy
PlayServs Player is a free media player for compatible devices. Users configure their own authorized playlists and sources. The application does not sell subscriptions or supply commercial channel, movie or series catalogues. Demo entries are test materials. This policy describes data processing in the player and its configuration and support services.
2. Responsible party and contact
The service identifies PlayServs as its responsible party. Contact servsplay@gmail.com for privacy questions and data requests. Identify the app and relevant Device ID. Do not post passwords or private playlist URLs publicly.
3. Identification and diagnostics
Device ID, technical authentication keys or tokens, IP address, platform, app version, access status, validation dates and technical request or error records may be processed to identify and authenticate the device, synchronize configuration and maintain security. Information voluntarily provided to support may also be processed.
4. Playlists and credentials
Configuration may include playlist name, provider code, server or playlist URL, username and password required by the selected source. This information is used to retrieve and play the chosen source and synchronize requested configuration. Do not publicly share configuration identifiers, credentials or URLs containing access tokens.
5. Local data
Configuration, session data, preferences, favorites, history, playback positions and caches may be stored on the device. Cleanup options vary by platform and version. Clearing cache does not mean deleting device registration or all remotely stored data. Use the specific deletion option where available or contact support.
6. Purposes
Information is used to provide requested functions, authenticate and link devices, retrieve and synchronize playlists, maintain sessions, load images and available programme information, diagnose errors, protect infrastructure, respond to requests and comply with applicable obligations. Processing must follow the relevant legal grounds for service provision, legal obligations and security. Where consent is necessary it must be requested for the relevant purpose.
7. Providers and infrastructure
Website hosting and protection use Cloudflare; configuration services use Supabase infrastructure. These providers may process technical data needed for operation. When a playlist, image, programme listing or video is accessed, its servers may receive the IP address, requested URL and necessary authentication data. Independent content providers also have their own privacy practices.
8. Processing locations
Infrastructure providers and user-selected sources may process data outside Brazil. Locations depend on the infrastructure and source servers used. Contact the responsible party for information on providers and storage locations.
9. Network and device resources
Network, memory and processing resources are used for player functions and necessary service communications. The app does not operate the device as a residential proxy, relay, exit node, VPN or infrastructure for forwarding third-party traffic.
10. Security
Access controls and protective measures are used for the service. Local mechanisms vary by platform and no connected system is immune to incidents. Protect the device, its identifiers and source credentials. Third-party sources may use protocols chosen by their own providers.
11. Retention and deletion
Local data remains until removed through available controls, reset or uninstallation, subject to platform behaviour. Remote configuration and records are retained as needed for stated purposes, security and applicable obligations. Deletion requests are assessed after appropriate identity verification. If a request cannot be fulfilled or some records must be retained, the responsible party should explain why. Local cleanup is not confirmation of remote record deletion.
12. Your data rights
You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction and, where provided by law, anonymization, restriction, deletion, portability and information on sharing. Consent may be withdrawn where it is the basis of processing. Proportionate identity verification may be required to prevent unauthorized access. Send requests to the contact above. If you cannot exercise your rights with the responsible party, you may contact the competent authority.
13. Children and adolescents
The player is not specifically directed at children. Parents or guardians should supervise use by minors, particularly source selection and available parental controls. Content depends on user-configured sources.
